Nancy Sinatra, première femme du chanteur Frank Sinatra, est décédée à l’âge de 101 ans, rapportent samedi les médias américains, citant sa fille qui l’a annoncé sur Twitter.
L’amour de jeunesse de Frank Sinatra, avec lequel elle a eu trois enfants, est décédée vendredi à 18h02, a indiqué sa fille Nancy Sinatra Jr. « Elle était une bénédiction et la lumière de ma vie. Bonne route, maman. Merci pour tout », écrit-elle sur le réseau social Twitter.

Nancy Sinatra Sr, née Nancy Barbato en 1917, avait épousé Frank Sinatra en 1939 dans le New Jersey, juste au moment où la carrière du chanteur était sur le point de décoller.
Frank Sinatra avait quitté Nancy pour Ava Gardner au début des années 1950, dont il a divorcé en 1957. Le chanteur, mort en 1998, a eu deux autres femmes : Mia Farrow et Barbara Marx.
