2016, Khongoriin Els, Mongolia. Byambaa, one of the camel herders of the South Gobi with his family. I had the chance to stay at their home for 2 days back in June 2016, and between riding the camels, going up to the sand dunes of Khongor, being photographed by Solongo his granddaughter on my own camera, seeing the milking of the goats, and a sand storm by the last evening, we shared a wonderful time together. This place will definitely keep a long lasting memory in my heart. #gobilife #camelherder #family #familyphotoshoot #mongolian #mongolia #camels #gobidesert #instameetulaanbaatar #instameetmongolia #travel #travelphotography #sonyalpha #sonyalpha6000 #sonya6000 #adaptedlens #canonfd50mmf1_4 #snapseededit #googlesnapseed #thepipas2019 #portrait

In dedication to Isola of @allstarsboxinggym who gave me the opportunity to photograph female boxers. May his soul rest in eternal peace Ameen. 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽 A series I shot whilst in university. Exploring female empowerment through male dominated sports as well as how women are looked at by men and by themselves. My tutors were not into it at all. They thought the background wasn’t working, they didn’t like the formalness of it or the way I was trying to work the color but it became the signature image of the #taylorwessingportraitprize back in 2009. Just goes to show that as artists why are we seeking validation? Why do we not believe in what we’re creating? It’s hard but persistence is the key to success so I persist in being me and showing you the world through my narrative. . Female Boxer No3 from my series Female Boxers which I’ll be revisiting very soon. . All prints are available in editions of between 5 and 10 so get in touch. . #femaleboxer #womenempowerment #womensrights #boxing #Olympics #athlete #color #photography #portraits #people #portraiture #face #painting #analogue #mediumformat #shootonfilm #filmisnotdead #film #filmforever #filmphotography #analoguephotography #choosefilm #art #contemporaryart #kunst #sports #thepipas2019

London Fashion Week In frame: the gorgeous @jolienguyennofficial Absolutely loved this long summer taking film portraits along the way, ending with London Fashion Week. It has really built up my confidence asking for portraits and working on different compositions. ◾Canon T90◾Canon 50mm fd◾Kodak ISO 100 ________________________________________________ #thepipas2019#fashion #35mm #fashionkilla #londonfashionweek #lfw2018 #vietnam #fashionistas #loves_united_london #portrait_vision #portrait_shots #loves_portraits #analogue #portraitmission #ldn4all_placed #filmisnotdead #shootfilmnotmegapixels #shotonkodak #mycanon #filmphotography #mydarlinglondon #thisislondon #prettycitylondon #lensminds #dynamicportraits #lo_outandabout #uk_ports #portraitvision #bleachmyfilm
